Description

This is a degrained and shaking-stabilized version of Toei remasters from ergiman's torrent (https://nyaa.si/view/1145208). I tried to retain as much detail as possible with this reencode and you can check the results in the screenshots.

Ergiman so it's the AMZN WEB-DL version. Thought for a second it would be the BD version.

Not many have done Blu-ray rips, just the Polish fansub Grupa Mirai and that's about it, iirc.

No, I do not plan to do DBZ. At first I made this version of movies for myself because I could not stand the grain and "jumpy" video in the original version, but since it took me quit a bit of time to do this at 1.5-2 fps on overclocked 8 core processor, I thought I would share it with other people.

Subtitles on the DB movies are a bit questionable. Translation is a bit spotty in some places. Other than that, excellent quality :)

Is the Dead Zone film from Amazon supposed to be cropped? I did a screenshot comparison with Cleo's Blu-ray re-encode of Dead Zone and this release definitely has some of the image cropped out from the bottom and top. Whats up with that? This sucks because I think this release visually looks better. Anyways, thanks for the effort.

There's 4px crop per side because of image stabilization. If I did not crop the sides, you would see a black bar shifting back and forth on all sides.

@BindeR Thanks for the effort, but that means there will be image detail that won't be viewable because that part of the image has been cropped out unfortunately.

Nice job cleaning these up and stabilizing. There are only 2 audios for each movie, can you confirm which one you picked for each language?

These do look amazing i own the actual Japan Blu Ray's of all the movies and honestly I might prefer these over them on some movies though the Blu Ray's have at least some grain intact which I like just to have a bit of the old film feel to the movies in 1080p
