Did you not listen to this after you encoded it? It's terrible.
96k is passable at 2 channel. It isn't even close with 6.

I'd suggest to reconsider your audio choice to be at the minimum between 128 to 192 kbps for 2.0 and I'd recommend not to compromise the file size for 6 ch.
Some anime episodes (or movies) may require more bit rate then another episode that was ok with lower bit rate. Its something to consider.
