I downloaded few eps and looks like episodes 27+ still doesn't have english subs. They have only jap and finnish dub and finnish subs.

That's a shame, I have the French subbed DVD box sets somewhere, and they end around ep 52, so I was hoping these had the rest.

BTW, what DVD release is this? I couldn't find anything that matches this on Amazon fr/co.uk/com

@kuchikirukia the rest after ep27 has zero English subtitles but for some reason 2 sets of Finnish subs...
So literally no batch/rip of Japanese with English subs exist except for ep 1-26.... it seems...

Tanoshii Moomin Ikka is a remake of all 78 episodes. English dub is in the database.

@Anvil: ah, but did you check Amazon.de? the European choice for Amazon!
or cdon.fi ? which is the Finnish Amazon (basically).
since the production for the show was Finnish & Japanese, the characters were created by Finllanders, and the torrent has 2 sets of Finnish subtitles, i'm gonna say it was the Finnish release ;)

by the way, in WHAT dimension is it okay to upconvert DVD video to 720p? i don't care WHAT the resolution on Finnish DVDs is, they CAN'T have been 720p like the videos in this torrent. and stretching pixels only blurs them, WORSENING the quality.

as for why there are 2 sets of Finnish subs, one is for the whole episode's text, the other is for just the songs. just like they do here in the U.S.
