Description
Based on Sakuishi Harold's awesome manga, hardsubbed in glorious 2004 TV quality by the great Anime-Empire. Believe or not but this is still the best way to watch BECK, the subs are so good.
For me, BECK is a sad anime, because it tells a story about music industry before it went to hell, with all "super producers" and Spotify-crap and who-knows-what. BECK is a testament for those who care about good music, played with actual instruments and.. well, I could rant a whole day about this, but let's just say it: music is not music anymore, it's crap.
Anyways, enjoy the series, it's very good! 640x480, hardsubbed, TV quality.
Mata ne!

No the industry was bad back then as well, it pretty much died in the mid to late 90s. Canned music was always a thing but it got worse and worse as all the producers and executives wanted to make all the money by riding trends and destroying creativity.. hell its what the media industry as a whole has been doing since the mid 90s..... lets take something that has millions of fans and sold millions of copies and make it different to match trends or drugged out hyper canned "creativity"...then wodner... "geee why dis shit not selling so well?"
I found the dubbed version so much better than the subbed.
The voice actors could actually sing.
