Description

Tenshi Fansubs Presents…

Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken - Chapter of Destiny Arc (Episode 41 of 46)
41 - The Super Dragon Army Arrives! Let's Protect the City of Bengarna!

These episodes come from my very own VHS tapes, and I encoded these myself. These aren’t the old rips that were uploaded years and years ago. These rips have been remastered, and encoded from 29.976 fps to 23.976 fps and de-interlaced.

The translations for these episodes I’m using from this episode on are from Ibfinity, since the rest of Anime-Koi’s scripts have iffy translations.

Here's an ep to make up for a week with no release.

Original Translator: Ibfinity
TLC for my release: bluesun
Typesetting/Karaoke: Tom Servo
Timing: DranzerX13
Raws/Editing/QC: DranzerX13
Encoding/Distro: DranzerX13
Special Thanks to HakaiBills93

Old rips: No opening or ending themes encoded in the episodes.

Tapes 1 and 2: OP > Episode with eyecatch > ED > OP > Episode with eyecatch > ED
Tapes 3-6: OP > Episode with recap but no eyecatch > eyecatch > episode with no recap or eyecatch > ED
Tapes 7+: OP > Episode with recap but no eyecatch > eyecatch > episode with no recap or eyecatch > ED > Special episode previews made just for the VHS tapes

Note: The VHS tapes for episodes 5+, the even numbered episodes have recaps included, but the odd numbered episodes have them omitted. The eyecatches are also placed after the episodes rather than in the middle of the episode. Also, some episodes have a small scene removed after where the eyecatch goes. All the eyecatches have been properly restored to their proper spots thanks to seeing the Chinese version as reference to where they’re supposed to go.

Cool, you are doing great work! If someone was wondering, the anime covers appr. volumes (bunkoban!) 01-10/22 of the manga. I was able to find the original files of manga from Square-Ocean and I am going to upload them as soon as the TV anime has been subbed, so people can read the rest of the story, because it's simply great.
