Wish FUNimation had never cancelled this release or the Level Sets as they were the only two commercial releases that could've reached customers without being limited (Dragon Box Z).

And there's gonna be the 30th Z Blu-rays but that's just.. the Season Sets presented in 4:3 AR.

There's also more broadcast recordings (Freeza arc, e.g.) of Z too but the user who showed me wasn't so much to share but to brag about it. I don't get these folks mentality but eh, enjoy it, I guess.

The Maakuo torrents for the OG broadcast video is dead also. If you try to DL it, it gives an error saying it's an invalid torrent.

This is a cancelled release. It only lasted 9 volumes in total, well, 10 if you'd count the Latin Spanish version but that's just OB in UUE packaging.

Too bad they canceled this release. I compared the DVD with the Blu-Ray and I saw that the image of the DVD is very good. The colors closely resemble those of the Blu-Ray, and maintains the grainy, although the DVD image has cuts in the 4: 3 image. For me, this DVD is far superior to the Dragon Box in terms of color and texture.

The truth is that Dragon Ball Z has great versions, but they are all perforated, see the release of iKaos that had to merge the project of the Levels Set with DVD.

The UUE and Level Sets were fantastic and goes to show FUNimation can deliver quality releases if they actually put effort into it but.. they can't be bothered to.

Hell, the 30th Anniversary Blu-ray is just the Season Sets in 4:3 AR and promoted as "chance of a lifetime set". What a con.

n12 I had all the broadcast tapes a few years ago from cn days on vhs i offered to people on kametsu to just pay for shipping and i would be glad to send them to get them encoded as i dont have the time. know one wanted to pay for shipping. I have moved a couple months ago. I may or may not have them at my old place still idk. But I had almost the whole series. Also had alot of copies from the funi vhs uncut stuff. I double recorded everything back then.
