Remuxed using different sources all listed below. DB movies include subs, DBZ don't (it could have but I'd have to OCR it and that would have taken endless hours).

Note: The Japanese audio is from the Dragon Box and in DBZ Movie 13's case, there are two; FUNi JP Audio and Dragon Box (it was worth including the FUNi source).

I'm assuming these are from YGG? Thanks a bunch for these, I tried looking on there but only found the french language releases that are around 700mb. These seem to be much better quality and dual audio to boot.
Audio/subs yes but the video is directly from the FUNi 4x3 AR DVDs. Minus on DB M1, M3 and M4 which are tweaked WEB-DL rips by FR&B.
Good to know, thanks.
What’s the story behind these? Is this the way the movies were originally animated before being cropped for theaters?
Well, the movies were intended originally to be seen in 16:9 AR but there are 4:3 AR copies of them if you want to see the whole picture, then you can. AB Video remastered DBZ Movies 07-11 on DVD in 4:3 AR, although it is PAL and not NTSC like these.
I personally prefer the DB and DBZ movies in 4:3 AR rather than 16:9 AR as that's how I've gotten used to seeing them.
@Super_Saiyan_Lusitano, when does Pendekar did dragon ball movies with r1 dvd's? can you post the torrent link here? because all of them says there were sourced from the japanese dvd's
@correvlr
He didn't, I just used the audio and cautiously synced it without re-encoding the file or anything. Pendekar released all of the Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z movies using the Dragon Box source.
that's a shame. because seems weird movies 1 3 and 4 in 720 and 2 in 480p. i prefer all in the same source and quality. do you know a very good release in 480p for movies 1 3 and 4?
The reason is because FUNimation broke the fps of the second Dragon Ball movie. I can upload 480p DVD-RAW of Dragon Ball Movies 1, 3-4 later on.

You were after Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT rips like Romao's Dragon Box Z, weren't you? I've found it. Won't bother with Dragon Ball GT as GTeam will release a vastly superior release but it'll be kinda worth getting the Dragon Ball rips at least. It's around 210 GB-ish in total.
@Super_Saiyan_Lusitano, yes if you can, post those movies in dvd-raw like the rest, that way every movie as the same quality/video dimentions. when you have a little time to post it, i really appreciate it.
about the rips from dragon ball and dragon ball gt, yes that would be great, if you want to test first with gt since its less discs (around 90gb) to see if people are interested in that and you talk about dragon ball in the torrent section.
sorry i misread it. so dragon ball rips it is. specialy because the original isos are hard to find too nowadays. but if you can post first the movies in dvd-raw
These days it's a lot more convenient to use MKV rips than DVD rips. Plus, it all includes English subs.
Bud (corre), just to let you know I'm getting it ready to download the Dbox GT rips and then the Dbox DB rips. These are impressively good, except for the muffled audio but oh well.
Até logo. ?
Edit: I might try to remux the JP BA audio from the previous GTeam releases so it fills the gap till they release their definitive GT release.
@Super_Saiyan_Lusitano thanks, do you prefer to first upload the movies in dvd-raw 480p from the r1 singles?
btw como sabes que sou tuga? xD
I guess so. The movies will be under 5GB while DB and GT will sky rocket to 90GB ~ 200GB.
Because I think I've seen your nickname on GoldTugAnime and "corre" means run. ?
I might delay the Dragon Box GT DVD rips upload in order to see about adding the Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan, Galego, French and German dubs. Only, only if they're already synced otherwise it'll have to be left out.
in goldtuganime there is gt from r2j episodes, so portuguese dub is done xD. you just need to delay a few ms i guess.
i have portuguese dub from dbz sync to r2j, or at least 1-269, im going to finish the last episodes before april 1st. if you want, i can upload the audios.
I'll see how GT dubs turn out but the Dragon Ball Dbox pack should be up by Monday. With an upload speed of 1 MiB/s sharing 200GB is no big deal.
@Super_Saiyan_Lusitano while i was confirming with you that you have the other movies in dvd-raw 480p i was getting this torrent here
https://nyaa.si/view/962574
as you say in this description, its the singles dvd versions, but the ones on the torrent have english credits. this is probably a different singles edition, or i downloaded the wrong version.
oh well, but since you have them no big of a deal.
Those are what it's based from. I'd recommend downloading the original DVD release (Singles) because the remastered is kinda meh, and why I don't use it myself.
However, for DB Movie 1 there's no alternative but to use the remastered edition. We have it in full screen but there's definitive detail loss. Same happened to the HD version.
The Dragon Ball Dbox DVD rips are pretty darn amazing and even better if it's with the JP OBA tracks. It might not go up on Monday but as soon as possible.
Any chance of adding English subtitles for the DBZ movies later?
@Super_Saiyan_Lusitano thanks for taking time doing that. but there is any chance you release the 5 GB movies earlier? or do you have some other torrent to release first?
@ kintoun
English subtitles seem hard to find for this but I'm going to give XMedia Recode another try, which allows to backup DVD video files with their respective audio and subs. However, when I try to extract the subs (via MKV Extract) it's unable to. But eh, as long as the subs are there and everything works as it should it's not like anyone will bother improving it, it's what it is.
@ corre
I have about four more uploads to share here of Dragon Ball but I'll just make a 480p DVD rips release of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z full screen movies with the English subs. The AB version looks way nicer but it wouldn't have subs which is kind of a downer.
Still, I'll try to sync the audios [Dragon Box] to that version if I can (AB Video – Movies 7-11).
If there's ever a better audio source than the muffled one, then it's worth replacing it.
seed please
I'll get back to it, just need some time.
To anyone that reads this and is interested, I'll re-seed this soon but I won't be releasing a subtitled version as I had promised. I'll see about moving to AsianCinema.me as the torrents there are more likely to be kept healthy (seeded) whereas Nyaa they just end up on dying sooner than expected.
If there are replies here I might not see (forget to revisit this page) but if you have an inquiry, then post on a more recent upload on mine.

Stoped at 69.05%, please seed so I can seed for a while or upload it to mega or somewhere else. Whatever!
someone seed this please
Thanks for seeding!
Hit and run, typical of these people... that's why their requests are rarely answered. Right now I'm the only one who's seeding it at times.
