Considering the store is called "Sonrisa", had a sombrero decoration, her football powers and that she only uses the word as a goodbye, Elena's catchphrase is probably the spanish word "Chao" not the italian word "Ciao".

Well, the Spanish word "chao" is just the Italian word "ciao" loaned into Spanish, and respelled.
It's also not a very common word in Spanish, I'd say on about the same level as "ciao" is used in English.

KIRAMEKU HOSHI NO CHIKARA DE

We use it a lot tho, like everyday and multiple times in a casual setting. It's use depends on the country because spanish speaking countries be like that.
Also "Smile" in italian is not "Sonrisa", but it is in spanish
