Description

The year is 2387, and humanity is at war with a merciless alien species—the Noza. Both vying for control of planet Maris, humanity’s best chance for survival rests upon three young soldiers wielding powerful handheld weapons called Zillion. @Lupin the Nerd To be fair, the film grain probably contributes to that, which I'm OK with, as I like film grain.

It is not just the grain, but also bit rate and the fact that it is like 31 eps and the ova is about 50 min so will be around 40 gigs roughly give or take. And knowing funi they probably removed grain given they need space to cram them on so many disc for home release, think it was about 4-5 DVDs or so.

Just an FYI, the Japanese Blu was 6 discs, so there's probably some compression but not as bad as say Kaze.

US BD is 4 disc, they usually cram 8-9 eps on one disc. Vol.1 1-9, Vol.2 10-18, Vol.3 19-27, Vol.4 28-31 + OVA

Only wish they would shift from THD to pcm like other companies are starting to do besides sentai.
