@Kamyne What? The series is animated in a range of like 844p and 849p with some outliers here and there a little less than 844p and more than 849p. It seems to be that way in all of Kinema Citrus productions, or at least since Made in Abyss. The script used to encode this descaled each frame to the resolutions in the range (inclusive,) chose the resolution with the lowest relative error, then reupscaled with nnedi3_rpow2 to 1080p, or left it at the 1080p unscaled if the relative error was too big. Our TV releases were left at the 1080p scaling from the studio.
@AXZ is -V 91 not good enough? I was told 91 was already transparent for everything in anime.

Pretty much everything but songs. Also why would you spend hours scene filtering shitty BDs and then cheap out on the audio? -V 127 is only ~12 mb for these specials.

@PA-Subs Nah, don't compromise when it comes to music type of shows as you won't know what episodes require more bit rates then other episodes. Going full q -127 or even try cVBR 512 if want higher bit rate output is the better choice so won't have to worry about such things.
