Notes:

  • I divided the episodes into yearly seasons.
  • I added the missing episodes from the previous batch (the original airing of 222-224, and episodes 304 and 468 from M-L and Baaro respectively).
  • I added the recent releases from Baaro and Kienai: 153-154, 276 v2, 435-436 and 474.
  • 50 remastered episodes are also included alongside the original airings.
    These remasters can be found here separately.

Consider using Erai instead of Horrible because older episodes of Horrible are in Bitrate instead of CRF
I'd also say to get them at 1080p but we both know they're neither animated at 1080p nor have enough bitrate, so I don't mind it

People are always sceptical of most OCR efforts due to the common mistakes, font changes, lack of karaoke etc.

Also many of those OCR subs have not been released as a remux with a good quality raw. Many people are too lazy to go to the effort themselves.

PS: Are Erai-Raw's really better than HorribleSubs for the 720p releases? CRF is not always better than VBR

Older episodes of HorribleSubs are in 2-Pass TargetBitrate, no ConstantBitRate.

TBR is equivalent with CRF at same filesize.

In TBR the video-bits are distributed across the file at the constant quality same as in CRF.
But the CRF value is unknown, instead we specify the filesize or the bitrate necessary to reach that filesize.

Don’t replace the HorribleSubs files indiscriminately, instead, always choose the largest file. For example, episode 904 of HorribleSubs (336 MiB) is preferable to episode 904 of Erai-raws (291 MiB). In other hand, The episode 892 of Erai-raws (367 MiB) is preferable to episode 892 of Horriblesubs (336 MiB).

Of course, the comparison is complicated if they use different numbers of b-frames, ref-frames and other techniques to optimize the filesize. But unless we talk about 10-bit versus 8-bit, those are not significant (currently Erai uses CRF15-8bit).

Just replace the episodes from wave and it will be much better.
For the softsubs wave mentioned and linked to, it needs .mkv files for it to, hope some day we can have it and skip this .avi and .mp4 files.

Should have added the Season and Episode number in the filename so Plex could find it, like S01E01 etc.
Then Plex would get the info from www.thetvdb.com

what are your encode settings? i also want to encode this but i don't really have much experience... i'm using CRF 22 to be on the safe side tho
