Description

If you like your anime looking less blurry, hopefully you'll like this. Before and after comparison provided below.

Before ---> After

Also, I highly recommend mpv as your media player. My script for anyone who would like to use it. Comparison of an unfiltered episode of a different show, using mpv with and without my script, and VLC.

Wow that after shot is terrible. Who could possibly stand all that ringing and washed out background?

There's less "noise". Koby equates noise with detail. Personally, I only see noise as hiding a lack of detail underneath it. My version isn't perfect by any means, and I'm not asking anyone to change their tastes. Just offering another option -- which others are free to hate. If have the sharpness and de-noising outweighs the imperfections for some, that's all that matters to me.
