Thanks! I love that you are using x265, but could you up the bitrate to 4+Mbps? Atm a lot of the time it's under 1Mbps.

@TheOneDemon: They don't need to pick a specific bitrate, they just need to use a lower CRF setting (like 20 or 21) and let x265 pick the bitrate. Right now they're using CRF 24, which is only low-medium quality.

I use 20 for all of my HEVC stuff and its very comparable to the original material being re-encoded. It may introduce slightly more blocking and banding, but mostly in very dark scenes. I would recommend at least 22 CRF for the future though. It should come out to be about 1/2 the original file size.
