All other readily available torrents of the series have some attempt at a remaster, or general issues, such as heavy blur. This is a compressed version of Viz's DVDs, unedited other than that, which are still flawed, but generally better than any other viewing method. The compression has little to no noticeable quality loss, and saves roughly 60 GB of storage space. If the compression is something you absolutely cannot live with, the same uploader has uploaded a fully uncompressed rip of the series, but it's over 80 GB.

BlazeBlazer-It has the dub track, but I made Japanese audio with subtitles the default

akabane-The encode itself is probably a bit worse. I'm not an encoder, I don't know how to make it look best, all I know is I used the best default profile in Handbrake. I did change the tune to animation, make sure the frame rate was right, but that's basically all. It still looks good as far as I can tell. The thing about the other torrent you mentioned, it has color alterations that I find... excessive, let's just say. I certainly think mine is better, or I wouldn't have uploaded it. Rather, that's the reason why I uploaded my version to begin with.

Well, this torrent died and I got rid of the files after the first couple weeks, so it's permadead. I'd figured a few people would seed permanently and I'd just be able to do the ISO version. Guess I can't count on anyone else...

Once I get ahold of a good copy the Yorknew OVA's I'll re-upload everything together, and make a backup somewhere to avoid this.
