Synopsis

Ai and her best friend Machi are both aspiring professional ballet dancers. Machi possesses exceptional skill at ballet and Ai has always looked up to her as a role model. Ai is finding it hard to improve, and the vast difference in skill between the two is testing their relationship with one another. One day, Ai is introduced to the world of the “Aguu”, mysterious entities that grant genius-level talent to those who possess them. She learns about the “tailors” who produce the Aguu, and the “saviours” who would put a stop to them. What do the Aguu mean for Ai and Machi, and how will they fare as they are thrust into the midst of the struggle between tailors and saviours?

For now, I'm taking a break. I won't be taking on a new anime this (Autumn) season.

Longer term, I'm not sure what will happen yet. If I start working on a new anime, I don't know if it will be as Ganbatte Subs, or if I can find a more established group with better infrastructure and more people to help ease the workload. It all depends on what unlicensed anime there is, how much it interests me, and how motivated I find myself.

Ganbatte Subs will definitely return if season 2 of Aguu is ever made, however.
