My personal preference is to keep honorifics.

@Herkz, Although one must learn a bit of Japanese culture to know when and where each is appropriate, many firms, CR included, have often seriously mistranslated honorifics when attempting their removal. That error often results in wrecking the anime's storyline. For example in the "Magical Index" series that GJM has recently picked up, the honorific used for Misaka Mikoto by her roommate Shirai Koroko has been mistranslated in past dubs from the Japanese 「おねえさま」 (onēsama - literally a formal form of "Elder sister" but in this case, Misaka is an unrelated elder girl of almost similar age) to "Sissy" in the English dub.
