Puella Magi Madoka Magica Volume 1-3 (2011) AVC 1080p 3xBD50
After experiencing a bizarre dream, Madoka Kaname, a kind 14-year-old girl,
encounters a magical creature named Kyube. Madoka and her friend Sayaka
Miki are offered the opportunity of gaining magical powers if they agree to
make a contract with the strange little being. He will also grant them one
wish, but in exchange they shall risk their lives by accepting the
responsibility of fighting witches. Invisible to human eyes, witches are
catalysts of despair in the areas they inhabit. An ally of Kyube, a magical
girl named Mami Tomoe, befriends and encourages the two girls to accept the
contract. For an unknown reason, another magical girl named Homura Akemi is
determined to prevent Madoka from accepting the deal.

I don't understand this release. What's BDMV? What's "3xBD5"? Why it have 98.4 GB? This is crazy! It never i'll run in my computer, i think.
I'll explain it to you: BDMV are direct copies of the video data on the Blu-Rays. This is essentially the video that you'd get if you were to purchase the BD, no reencoding is done. As you may imagine, this is large. Blu-Ray discs store a lot of data, and they aren't really concerned with the bitrate of the video as long as they get to fill up the whole disk.
Good explanation CK!
You forgot to mention that you need to be a
little anal obsessive to covet BDMV!
Thank you for the explanation
So this video is better than bluray encodes?
That depends. For example it depends on what encoder you're referring to and the source of the anime they're encoding from. Sometimes the encoder may fix issues that the BDMV contain, sometimes they may exceed the perceptual quality of the image compared to the BDMV. File size may be an issue for some, etc, etc.
If you want the highest quality and don't care about file size these BDMV's is what you want. The uploader has shared a couple of BDMV's already and going by the description they aren't from the Japanese BDMV but from the US BDMV which usually are inferior to the Japanese BDMV in terms of quality but contains the English dub track in addition to the original Japanese dub. But if that doesn't matter so much to you and are interested in the English dub track that's the version to get.
Also, I am not certain on this but the distributor for this share says it's from Aniplex of USA which they often tend to use the very same BDMV's from Japan and simply add in the English dub track so this would be the superior version if you want that but then you could find an encode that already includes both at a much lower file size.
I understand, thank you.
I don't have space in my computer to store this one, so i prefer to take encode files at all.
Beatrice-Raws is my favorite source for bluray version animes, her quality is the best, so i'm okay.
HorribleSubs is my favorite source for tv version animes, her quality is the best, so i'm okay.
I wish to buy the original bluray disc of my best animes in the future.
