Really sorry this one took so long to get out! Thought we’d take the time here to explain how some of the yakuza terms you’ve been seeing work: “Bro” (aniki) is a term used by lower ranks to higher ranks (below officers, though), and all lower-ranked yakuza are referred to as “brothers” (little and big to denote relative rank). “Chief” (kashira, an abbreviation of “wakagashira”) is sometimes translated as “lieutenant” and refers to a high-ranked officer usually right below the boss (oyabun).

Just checked out this anime and it says:

"A group of 3 yakuza failed their boss for the last time. After messing up an important job, the boss gave them 2 choices: honorably commit suicide, or go to Thailand to get a sex reassignment surgery in order to become "female" idols. Oh well, I thought this wouldn't last. The show really is awful and I was close to dropping it myself.

I wonder if this was dropped for legitimate reasons, or because of social justice bullshit. The show itself really isn't bad aside from the non-existent animation.

I could understand if they thought it was boring, but just giving up so early is telling that they were probably getting offended by the show, what a waste.
