Can y'all stop this meme? Download the latest update of VLC and you are good to go.

@IndoMEME, our releases are QCed with mpv. If errors occur in VLC, we can't/won't help and it's the user's own problem to deal with.

@MagnitudeReview no interest on the PAS side. Maybe Chyuu would do it if you gave them a translator, no idea.

@kekomini, probably eventually. Not anytime soon. It's not dropped but I mean really, it was just cr's script unedited (I know who worked on it though so pretty safe to assume it's fine) with added typesetting, song TL and a styled script slapped on a BD encode. There's not much point in it when I'm pretty sure other groups have done the same thing already to competition but without the tsing.

The blurring of artifacts in the shadows seems a little strong and unfortunate.
Of course I appreciate the work in offering videos without them. I understand it takes both time and effort to encode and tweak.
I want to offer my moral/mental support in a continuing endeavor of finding settings that result in less detail loss if possible.
Thank you anyways even if it isn't possible.

I don't think you'll ever see better video quality before the BD is out. The source has lots of banding and already more details than Hidive.

btw as NoobSubs said VLC has always been garbage. I agree, its poo... I've always used MPC and it's never let me down yet.

@Mistywing I don't think there's anything I can do. The source is garbage. I plan on doing scene filtered bd encodes though.

What about the subs of this release? Is it good? Are the subs in the middle of the fucking screen covering everything?

@PA-Subs Maybe I'm nitpicking too much, but why didn't you guys italize words like 'bon' or 'grand fouetté' ? - those should have definitely been in italic.

I'm also not a fan of 'Karenitwit' - it doesn't even sound good lol wutface

@tirafesi the TLC and TL have informed me that a decision was conciously made to not italicize those two words. Still waiting to hear from the editor though. Their reasoning seemed to be that if we did that, we might as well go full Funi-style and italicize honorifics to be completely consistent.
Regarding Karenitwit, maaaan our TL had Dorkaren first which I thought was A+ 10/10 but the editor changed it to Karenitwit :<
Let us know if you come up with anything and I'll run it by them. The JP is バッ華恋, pun on baka and Karen.

To me, "Dorkaren" sounds much better and makes more sense. "You dork, Karen", which has those words in sequence, is an actual sentence which might be said. "Karen nitwit" is bizarre and not a sequence of words which would appear and make sense to contract. It would be "Karen, you nitwit" or "Karen the nitwit" or something. The editor clearly dropped the ball on that in my opinion.

@PA-Subs damn now I want it to be Dorkaren ;-; It sounds nice and also matches the japanese pun quite well!
