BanG Dream S01 [BD Remux] (US Release + default English Subs)

Description
Since there were no batches of the Japanese BD's yet, I decided I'd upload my rips of the BD's. Also because I desperately want someone to fix the subtitles because yellow subs are gross. Literally all this torrent is is the BD Rip. No encoding, no filters, no changes to the subs.
If anyone wants to reupload this with a proper seedbox, better tags, etc. feel free. I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm not even sure if this is going to work.
Edit: As Xyus pointed out in the comments, this release is missing the DTS-HD audio, so I'm ripping the BD's again. If you haven't already downloaded this, I'd recommend waiting, since I will likely take this torrent down once I've finished. Will probably release the new version sometime on May 25th or 26th (Central time)
Edit2: Instead of creating a brand new download, I extracted the DTS-HD audio and put it on Nyaa as unlisted. Here's the link to the DTS-HD audio
Hopefully I did it right.

as long as it has english subs it is english translated
Ok, I've listed it as translated. Thanks.
Finally a BD release. Many thanks!
Mark as BD remux, mate. That's the term for a rip from the BD that's untouched.
Thanks Motbob. It's been fixed.
Thanks.
thanks !
btw, will you upload the lossless audio ( dts-hd ma ) ? it seems your release only have have dts-core not MA .
Damn, I didn't realize I hadn't pulled that. I'm ripping the BD's again with that dts-hd ma. Is there an easy way to separate just the audio, or do I just have to reupload the proper version?
afaik, you can use eac3to to extract the dts-hd ma part and upload it to lossless audio section.
Ok, I'll attempt to extract it and then add it back into one of the MKV files from this torrent. If it works, I'll upload just the audio and link to the audio here. Thanks!
Would anyone be interested if I used this torrent as a source to make an HEVC/FLAC version using the DTS-HD audio in the secondary torrent linked in the description?
I don't know what the difference is personally, so I can't say I'm interested., but the secondary torrent should be back up now if you want to use it. I had to shut down my computer due to an electrical storm, so it wasn't seeding for a while.
Thanks for seeding the secondary torrent! I'm making the HEVC/FLAC edition for my own collection so I'll likely upload it afterwards, but if you wanted an explanation:
HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) is the successor to AVC (the video coding used for Blu-ray, etc.) which has superior compression and quality relative to final file size (at the cost of higher CPU usage).
FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) compresses audio without any quality loss. (Produces smaller files than uncompressed audio but with the trade off of being much larger than lossy formats like AAC.)
tl;dr: With the right settings, this would likely reduce the file size by ~75% (compared to a direct BD Rip) for almost no perceivable quality loss to the average user.
Ok cool. Yeah, my initial intent with this release was just to let someone who actually knew what they were doing to apply that kind of encoding/filters and better subtitles. The subtitles are the most important part to me, cause I just can't stand the standard yellow ones, and going through and converting them to .ass and recoloring them was a process that I'm not very familiar with and would likely take me hours just to figure out how to do properly.
Performing OCR and converting to *.ass, then restyling everything would take quite a bit of time/effort to do well. What I can do however is to edit the subtitle's color palette so all the yellow subtitles are white instead. Would that work for you? I can definitely do that much as thanks for uploading the torrent.
Oh man, that would be awesome! If it doesn't take long, I'd really appreciate it, but definitely don't feel like you have to.
Sure, it'll only take a few minutes really. Are you planning to grab the re-encoded torrent once it's ready or should I just stick the subs on MEGA or something for you real quick?
I finished the re-encoded torrent! You can check it out at https://nyaa.si/view/1042001 if you want. I'll keep seeding it for at least a few days.
Downloading them now! Thanks! I'll probably continue to seed them (at least whenever my computer is on) until someone releases a version with super fancy subs.
Is there creditless op/eds(NCOP/NCED) ? If so, upload plz...
