To be fair, you're using the term American a bit too loose. Native-Americans are the real Americans while European-Americans, African-Americans, Asian-Americans and Latin-Americans are immigrants to the country.

I'm pretty sure Native-Americans wouldn't spend their days eating burgers or watching anime.

Not everyone has "years of watching anime", nor should they be required to learn "10 common Japanese words" to understand what is suppose to be English subtitles. If you're required to have knowledge of another language in order to watch subtitles in your own language, then you're doing it wrong and watching an incomplete translation.

Thanks for doing this show, herkz. It's good that people have the ability to choose what kind of subs they prefer for this show. I'm not sure why there are still arguments when you actually have the choice between a fully localized script and a 'weeb' one.

But, goddammit, I refuse to be shamed because I prefer honorifics and would rather see "Sensha-do" than "Tankery" (or whateverthefuck) and would like the return of liner notes where appropriate. As for those who don't want to remember simple, repetitive words and phrases (even though it takes little to no effort to do so), well there is always Fuckumation and Crustyroll.

Also, I can't help but notice that DameDesuYo calls this show by its actual name.
