You can use [Alphantom]/[PhantomGroup]'s subs, they are on https://subscene.com/subtitles/dragon-ball-super-dragon-ball-cho user ahmed8553 submits them. I'll put them out on a later batch with restyle.

Yeah, little pain staking there. But you could just name them the same as the video and just stick em in the directory. Any media player should pull them automatically.

Can someone tell me if the 1080p version of these Japanese Broadcast episodes were originally broadcasted in 720p and just converted and upscaled to 1080p.

I have downloaded some animeRG torrents for some Dragon Ball Super episodes and I downloaded the 1080p and 720p of the same episode. I checked it frame by frame, and it seems that the 720p was just upscaled to 1080p since the 720p video had a bit of a sharper image, and since the bits of errors in the image of each frame from the broadcast source were exactly the same.

I then tried to find any information on if Dragon Ball Super was originally broadcasted in 1080p in Japan. I did find some info that suggested that broadcasting in general would more likely have been in 720p at the time of the first arc, but I couldn't find any info specifically for Dragon Ball super. If it was broadcasted only in 720p starting at episode 1, I assume that by a certain episode they would have started broadcasting at 1080p.

If anyone has any information about this at all, it would be greatly appreciated.

I thought this had the English dub as well. Ugh. I wasted so much bandwidth. God dammit, can someone make an English dub complete version already?
