Episodes:

  • Video: 1920*1080p (Source: US Blu-ray—>MakeMKV—>Handbrake. Please note that while it is 1080p, the Bluray I'm taking it from was a SD remaster. It isn't natively HD. Now, this is only the case for the first five or so collections. According to the official descriptions on the jewel cases, Collection 6 (episode 121) is where it switches to native 1080p.) All of the episodes are MPEG-H/HEVC/h.265
  • Audio Track 1 (Default): English 5.1 Surround (FLAC 24-bit) (All episodes)
  • Audio Track 2: Japanese 2.0 Stereo (FLAC 24-bit) (All episodes)
  • Audio Track 3: English Commentary 2.0 Stereo (AC3 16-bit) (Episodes 1, 9, 15, 19, 26)
  • Audio Track 4: English Commentary 2.0 Stereo (FLAC 24-bit) (one out of every 6-8 episodes, starting with episode 39 )
  • Subtitle Track 1 (Default): English Signs/Songs (Retail) (HDMV PGS) (All episodes)
  • Subtitle Track 2: Dialogue (Retail) (HDMV PGS) (All episodes)
  • all tracks and chapters named

Specials: NCED/NCOP:

  • Video: 1920*1080p h.264 (Source: US Blu-ray—>MakeMKV, raw except me changing the track name) As these are raw straight from the Blu-ray, they are MPEG-4p10/AVC/h.264. You can process them however you'd like if space is an issue.
  • Audio Track 1: Japanese 2.0 Stereo (FLAC 24-bit)
  • Subtitle Track 1 (Default): English translation (Retail) (HDMV PGS)
  • all tracks named
  • Subtitle track is only the official translation, not a combination Rōmaji/English as it is with the later release

This is all of Seasons 1-4 according to how sites like trakt or thetvdb keep record of it, or all of the 2009 series according to MAL. Includes Episodes 1-175 and all NCOP/NCED sequences. All episodes are MPEG-H/HEVC/h.265, while all specials are MPEG-4p10/AVC/h.264, all in the .mkv container. Almost all audio is 24-bit FLAC. All subtitles are basic retail HDMV PGS.

*EDIT: I noticed I included NCOP 15 & NCED 15 here. Those don't actually play until episode 176, which is the first of the 2014 series. Sorry about that.

yo bro! thank you for your hard work! finally FLAC and not aac. i dont mind about bloating size as long as i satisfied with the quality. i hope the subs are decent tho. after i finish DL, i will seed it as long as i can XD

@Zusuka: No, I don't plan on doing this h.264. HEVC is more efficient, and as far as I know is playable on just about everything nowadays (Native on most PC hardware post 2015, native on most mobile hardware post 2014, and software like VLC, MPC-HC, or PotPlayer can fill some gaps as well). I should have done seasons 5 + 6 HEVC as well, but the horse is already out of the barn on that one I guess. I can only redo those for myself.

@isouji: My Japanese is about the level of a two-year old or so, so I can't vouch for the quality of the subtitles myself. Because I'm crazy, I tend to watch with the English dub, and with subtitles (yeah, crazy, but I like to compare them) and there was never anything that made me think "Whoa there, guy. What the hay was that? That wasn't the same at all." And they don't look fancy or anything, 'cause they're just basic retail, but I found them satisfactory.

@the_wyandotte; it would be great if you can upload Fairy Tail (2014) 176-265 and Phoenix Priestess in HEVC/FLAC.
Also looking forward for your upload of 266-277 and dragon cry when they are released.

@Takuya: Since I have no idea what you're talking about, the answer is no. When putting the Blu-rays onto my computer, there were times where there was a duplicate NCOP/ED sequence on multiples of the disc for the same volume. I only briefly glanced at them, because I was working off the fandom wiki list of openings and outside of the obvious differences with the individual character endings, I just assumed they were the same thing. While I still have most of the raws, I have since sold the Blu-rays on eBay and don't have access to them anymore to check.

@UsefulCardMaster: I've found (most) of the OVAs for myself by searching around online, but none in that great of a quality- if it was only ever released on DVD, then DVD is as good as it could get. Searching here on nyaa should turn up most of them for you.

@the_wyandotte: aw i see. in that case, can i ask for the link of subs in the fairytail zero? (only if it's cool with you) hehehe
