If you knew Japanese, you'd know that the Japanese script do not have direct transcription for "tu", often using "tsu" as a substitute. In fact for their t-series of consonant-verb pairing, it's ta, chi (which represents 'ti'), tsu (which represents "tu"), te, to. Sometimes, native Japanese and some old Japanese books still use "tu" as the english translation for つ/ツ ("tsu" in hiragana/katakana). Tsuare or Tuare are both valid, with the former keeping the spelling strictly in line with Japanese pronunciation, while the latter ignores the Japanese pronunciation

There's a recent invention of "テゥ" for "tu" (and "ティ" for "ti") but these are not considered official nor 'pronounceable' within the realm of standard Japanese, although those acquainted with English etc have no problem pronouncing it in the form familiar to English-speakers, they are not considered 'Japanese pronunciation'.
