[Sonomama] Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation - S03E12v2 (1080p WEB AV1 Dual-Audio AAC2.0)

Also coming in the batch: a new AV1 encode. We have been testing other SVT-AV1 parameter sets to get a better picture out of the same source, so the batch will supersede these weekly files on video quality as well as on the subtitle fixes above.

1080p AV1 dual-audio re-encode of the VARYG CR WEB-DL.

Video: SVT-AV1, CRF 18, preset 2, 10-bit (yuv420p10le), 1080p, film grain synthesis (film-grain=5, film-grain-denoise=0 - the coded picture is untouched, players that honor FGS get restored grain). CPU encode, no hardware encoding.
Audio: 2x AAC-LC 2.0 192 kb/s - Japanese (default) and the English CR dub.
Subtitles: the default English track is our [Sonomama] edit, which carries the ED English lyrics with their styling (this episode has no opening) - translation and styling by MTBB, used with credit (thank you). A second, opt-in [Sonomama] (Notes) track is the same script plus a translator's note wherever the English cannot carry a reference; the default [Sonomama] track has no notes. The untouched official Crunchyroll tracks are also included (English full/Signs/SDH plus every other language CR shipped for this episode), plus three Japanese CC tracks: AT-X CC (the broadcast ARIB captions, extracted from [shincaps]' AT-X TS captures, CMs and sponsor cards removed, re-timed to this video), DMM TV CC and Netflix CC (sourced from Jimaku, re-timed to this video). All [Sonomama] scripts are authored at 1920x1080. Fonts attached.

About the [Sonomama] track and the MTL tag: the base is Crunchyroll's official human translation. We check it line-by-line against the Japanese subtitles (broadcast ARIB captions and the JP CC tracks) AND against the original Japanese light novel (the raw JP text, not a translation) - the novel is our ground truth for names, terminology, intent and each character's speech register, not just the JP captions. We restore honorifics, remove localizer-invented lines, and correct mistranslations. Where a line is corrected it is re-rendered from the Japanese with machine assistance, and every edit is reviewed by two independent auditors before it is applied. Because machine translation is in the lineage of those corrected lines, the MTL tag is set. If you want the untouched official script, it is included as a separate track.

Sub work on this release: translation check + editing of every line against the JP captions and the raw JP light novel; song translation and styling (MTBB, credited); typesetting = Crunchyroll's official Signs track kept intact plus MTBB's karaoke styling; timing corrections where the JP audio/captions show CR's cue early or late; and every episode is watched in full and verified before it ships.

Video, audio and the official subtitle tracks are sourced from VARYG, credited as a secondary group.

File names are based on TMDB with target compatibility to Jellyfin. You may still need to rename for your own library organization.

What changed vs the first release [CB72DB25]

The original E12 went out Japanese audio only on Tuesday, September 15, the day after it aired. The
English dub and the DMM TV and Netflix caption captures were not out yet at that point, so it could not
carry them. This v2 folds them in and ships the [Sonomama] corrections made since:

• English Crunchyroll dub added (AAC 2.0, non-default — Japanese stays the default track).

• Crunchyroll Signs and SDH [CR] subtitle tracks added.

• DMM TV CC and Netflix CC Japanese caption tracks added, below the existing AT-X CC.

• [Sonomama] corrections (applied to both [Sonomama] and [Sonomama] (Notes)):

  • 01:35 — Rudeus's "She died?" → "Roxy's going to die?" The Japanese names Roxy and asks about
    what is going to happen, not what already has.
  • 05:55 — the old Rudeus's "Hell if I know." → "How should I know?"
  • 11:16 — the old Rudeus's "We weren't on the same page, / and it made us both miserable." →
    "And so we drifted apart, / and it only led to misery."

  The last two come from a pass over every episode that replaces an English idiom laid over plain
  Japanese with what the Japanese line actually says.

Nothing else changed. The video, the Japanese audio and every other subtitle track that
[CB72DB25] carried are byte-identical here — verified per stream, not per file.
