The story of the Gun Gods is about the mysterious arrival of the genetic lock, a super-age technology that enhances the body's functions in terms of speed, strength and senses like never before. Those who succeed in unlocking the genetic lock become the "agents" of a new era, and the best of them are called "Gun Gods". The new weaponry, the genetic lock, has led to a fierce struggle and the establishment of academies to train agents. As breakthroughs and experiments are made, the world is plunged into a quagmire of war by the threat of a mysterious race... After the end of the war, the mysterious race has disappeared, and the agents and gun gods have become unproven urban legends, with the only two remaining agents, the Deep Sea and the Deserted Serpent, moving their bases to the bottom of the sea and underground respectively. However, underneath all this peace, there is a lot of danger. source: bangumi/DeepL
