Mitsurugi Ryouko is a high school girl intending to become a samurai. In her high school, there is a system named K Fights which solves disagreements through duels officially sanctioned by the school. Ryouko is the present champion of the K Fights, and anyone able to defeat her in a challenge would gain unheard of prestige. Thus her school life is repeatedly interrupted by these duels. One day, Ryouko finds a mysterious pendant in a locker. The moment she puts it on, a bright light transports her to another dimension called Solvania, where a shrine maiden named Reiha calls Ryouko: Demon Lord of Yenen. It is now up to Ryouko to defeat the demon beasts of this strange world.
